Cast your minds back to the 1990's (if you can) it was all about the Spice girls and Brit pop but it was a fairly strong decade for fashion too. Whilst Victoria Beckham wasn't quite the style icon she is today 'Racing Green' was certainly là la mode with style conscious Brits. In the present day the tables have somewhat turned - Victoria Beckham is a global brand synonymous with all things chic and Racing Green has sadly fallen from favour. This is all set to change as Debenhams has taken the formerly loved brand under its fashion wing, transforming and updating it to its former Sartorial glory.
So when the Men Commandments was asked to spend a day racing round the Berkshire countryside in a selection of vintage cars we were digging out our driving gloves and looking for our Ordnance Survey Map (we knew one day that duke of Edinburgh bronze award would come in handy)
The day was completed by an amazing Lunch in a grand stately Hotel where we got to discuss the brand with the dapper Ben Fogle, who front the SS17 campaign. His effortless blending of smart and casual pieces and strong attention to detailing make him the perfect fit for the relaunched brand.
